Riyadh,26 July, 2025 – Manga Productions, a subsidiary of Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk”, has officially launched its latest contest titled “Saudi Dialects Dubbing Contest” aimed at empowering Saudi voice talent and showcasing the richness and diversity of local dialects. The campaign aligns with the company’s ongoing commitment to developing creative local content that meets global standards while reflecting the Kingdom’s cultural identity.
The contest features selected clips from “Asateer2: Future’s Folktales”, which was broadcast across five continents and streamed on eight international platforms, garnering over 150 million views. It also won the Saudi Media Forum Award for Best Media and Communication Campaign. The competition aims to present voice content that reflects the identity of Saudi society by showcasing the diversity of regional dialects through weekly digital challenges over the course of four weeks. It targets the Saudi community in all its linguistic variety, encouraging direct engagement through social media platforms. Manga Productions aims to enhance participants’ voice acting skills under the supervision of a specialized in-house team, while offering outstanding talents the opportunity to take part in the company’s future projects.

It is worth mentioning that the “Saudi Dialects Dubbing Contest” is not the first dubbing contest launched by Manga Productions. Last year, the company introduced the “Arabic Dubbing Contest”, which achieved wide success across the Arab world. The previous campaign achieved record engagement with over 15 million views and more than 1,800 participants from across the region, highlighting the growing passion for voice acting and the strong connection audiences have with Manga Productions’ initiatives. It concluded with a special event announcing the winners, attended by some of the most iconic figures in Arabic dubbing, who voiced characters in “Asateer2:Future’s Folktales”, including the renowned Jihad Al-Atrash (voice of the Judge of the Distant Town), Sanaa Bakr Younis (voice of Grandma Asmaa), and the esteemed Suad Jawad (voice of Um Ayed), in addition to Saudi actor Ibrahim Al-Hassawi, who voiced Abu Habeeb in the first season of Future’s Folktales.
