“Najd” and “the Masmak Fort” Featured in SNK King of Fighters IV
Manga Productions held a design competition from September 2017 for fans in the Middle East via their SNS channels. SNK and Manga Productions then teamed up to select the most original and interesting designs. SNK developed the character and stage as imagined by youths in the Middle East and they will soon be playable!
Manga Productions is a Subsidiary company of the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It focuses on producing animations and developing video games with creative and positive content targeting all different local and international groups of society.
Manga Productions seeks to launch several animation and video game projects to promote multiple ideas from Saudi Arabia and other countries and messages internationally through unique and professional productions.

I am extremely thrilled that we were able to collaborate with SNK to create both a character and stage designed by the talented youths in Saudi Arabia. We hope that this will create more opportunities for young videogame developers in Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia. We hope that fans in Japan and around the globe enjoy these new creations.

Profile
Najd is a very quiet person dressed in an Abaya with extraordinary powers.
At night, she puts on her Abaya and turns into a vigilante to fight crime and protect her fellow citizens.
In contrast to her mysterious appearance, she is a normal college student during the day.
A brand-new stage, Riyadh
Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, appears in the game as a brand-new stage with an interesting mix of modern and traditional styles. It features the Masmak fort in the foreground with modern skyscrapers adoring the background. Riyadh stage will be available for free with the Version 3.0 updated which will be available in April 2018.
One more DLC character still to be announced!
There is a total of 4 new DLC characters coming with the Version 3.0 updated planned for April 2018 including the already announced Oswald, Heidern and Najd. This will bring the total playable roster to a whopping 58 characters!
It is key to mention that Misk Foundation and Manga Productions provided sponsored training opportunities for 12 talented individuals in the Kingdom in the fields of 3D graphics and gaming in partnership with SNK.
